Somehow, it's snuck up on us again...time to start recruiting teachers for 2009. Last year was a strange year- because of visa problems resulting from tighter security for the Olympics, a lot of us who were planning to go weren't able to. Stan, and a new teacher, Bob Mazzola kept the program going by doing a mini UCS session in July, which was great. Mr. Qin reports that students and parents have already started calling him asking if the full UCS program will be back for 2009.
As usual, we offer spots on the new team to veteran teachers first. If you're planning to return to China in 2009, or considering it, please shoot me an email to let me know. Also, tell me if you'd like to be a team leader or headmaster.
Of course, we get some of our best teachers as referrals from past teachers. If you know someone who you think would be good for the program, please send them to the site at www.universalcultureschool.org, or have them send me an email, or pass their contact info on to Cara.
